A Guide To Developing Your Ageless Sex Life

Susana (aka Susan) Mayer, is a board-certified sexologist with the American College of Sexologists (ACS). She holds a Doctorate in Human Sexuality and a Masters in Sexual Public Health. Dr. Mayer has retired member status with the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS).

Dr. Mayer specializes in the libido (human sexual desire/drive), arousal, and the enhancement of intimacy and joy through the creation of a personal eroticism. She follows her Ageless Sex philosophy – the physical expression of intimacy taking into consideration emotional needs, aging bodies, and health challenges. Making certain all people involved in the relationship are having their needs met.

As a clinical sexologist, Dr. Mayer offers adult sex education and specific verbal instructions to help clients with specific issues. She does not offer intense therapy, but provides short term goal oriented sessions to fit her clients needs.

Susana meets with clients on-line or in her Philadelphia office. In Philadelphia, she is known as the go-to person for information pertaining to sexuality. She is a frequent contributor to NPR radio and various podcasts as well as to online and print publications.

Susana hosts The Erotic Literary Salon/Adult Sex-Ed gatherings that she founded in 2008 as a verbal sanctuary for sexual expression, to combat sexual shame, and to normalize sex and mainstream erotica. The Salon is held monthly and also participates in special events, such as the collaboration with the Philadelphia Museum of Art in 2017.
